Had an amazing time getting a tattoo done by Shannan at Sphynx Heart. Both her and her mom are very welcoming and the studio has everything in place for covid, so I felt very safe and comfortable. Shannan did a wonderful job on my tattoo. I absolutely love it and she was so gentle, it barely hurt even though it was on my back. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get a sick tattoo in any style.

Wonderful experience overall and very comfortable and safe even in CoViD times. I've been tattooed by Shannan before (a few years back), and really loved how she turned my ideas into a piece of art - and she did it again this time! First of all: the studio. Super easy to reach, even with public transport. The stop for the express bus is just a stones throw from the shop (for both directions). Was given hand sanitiser upon arrival and a wipe for my phone. Everything hygienic and clean inside-- CoViD prepared (they talked me through it as well), including Shannan - looking a bit like a cyborg with the extra face shield and apron. Overall impression: clean, professional place and warm+welcoming at the same time. And now the most important part - the artist: as I said, she made my ideas come to life and I'll definitely be back for more! Very gentle touch (even after hours of tattooing), which makes the whole session a lot better. She'll check in on you regularly and that numbing spray actually works (so thankful for that). At the end, we've had a little chat also with Mish.

I just don't have the ability to do justice to how great these guys are. I'm already planning my next tattoo Fantastic family run studio. Shannon is a really passionate artist and her commitment to realising the design onto my skin was great. I was the first sibling to get a family tattoo we had been working on for a while and Shannon's understanding of that meant I felt she cared almost as much as we did about how the image came out. The whole team is seriously diligent when it comes to keeping everyone safe, especially so in these Covid insecure times. Everything was hygenic but also efficient, a well drilled team looking out for the client and each other. Price wise, pay by the hour, competitive relative to other artists in the area. More than worth it in terms of service and quality.

Her hand is soft, perfect for those that are new to getting tattooed. Her desire to achieve the perfect details in the tattoo are what really set Sphynx Heart Tattoo apart from all of the rest. Her tattooing abilities are second to none. Another wonderful thing about this shop is the atmosphere/vibe or whatever you want to call it. From the very moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and like family. From Jordan’s very courteous offer of tea/coffee, Mish’s friendly conversations, to Shannan’s warm smile, I was welcomed instantly. This was a huge plus when I spent over 12 hours in their shop. Never once did I lose the feelings or warmth and comfort. All of that aside, Sphynx Heart Tattoo took an idea I had in my head and put a beautiful piece of art on my arm. It is WAY better than I could have ever imagined it. Shannan is a true artist that can take your ideas and make them a beautiful reality. What makes her truly the best, is her compassionate spirit.
